In Canada, CNOOC International has oil sands assets in Long Lake, located in northern Alberta just south of Fort McMurray, which is a SAGD and partial Upgrader operation with production capacity of 85,000 barrels of bitumen a day. We also have interest in several other oil sands projects, including Hangingstone, operated by Greenfire Resources Operating Corporation and Syncrude’s oil sands mining upgrading facility.

In addition to our oil sands business, we have shale gas land in Northeast British Columbia, a power station in Balzac, Alberta, and interest in a wind farm in southern Alberta. Calgary is our regional corporate office for all North America.

• University degree in Commerce, Economics or Business Administration is preferred;
• 6+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in Marketing or Marketing related areas (Marketing Accounting, Corporate Planning, Credit/Contracts);
• Strong attention to detail with proven capability and ability to manage multiple and/or conflicting priorities;
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Comprehensive understanding of pipeline logistical framework;
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact both internally and externally;
• A track record of developing a good external network and/or relationships with peers in Industry, joint venture partners and stakeholder organizations;
• Attention to detail; strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills;
• Solid skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook;
  Powerpoint;
  Right Angle and ZEMA experience preferred;
• Self-starter with initiative;
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
