Support enhanced due diligence and ongoing risk reviews for high-risk merchant relationships, helping assess and manage risk throughout the merchant lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Conduct enhanced due diligence reviews during onboarding, validate risk factors, and support risk classification decisions.
- Monitor merchant relationships for changes in ownership, business activity, and transaction patterns that may affect risk ratings.
- Complete periodic risk-based reviews and maintain audit-ready documentation of findings and outcomes.
- Escalate increasing risk concerns and recommend continued relationships, enhanced controls, or offboarding.
- Review complex ownership structures, licensing information, and supporting documentation across jurisdictions.
- Respond to internal teams’ risk-related inquiries and support improvements to merchant risk management and compliance practices.
