Support senior and junior debt transactions as a Senior Analyst with EDC, applying financial modeling and credit assessment skills. Work hybrid from Calgary, Vancouver, or Winnipeg.
EDC seeks a Senior Analyst for its regionally delivered Mid-Market Lending Program. You will support financing opportunities for medium-large Canadian businesses pursuing international growth and export revenue. The work includes financial analysis, credit assessment, transaction execution, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and progress financing opportunities within program objectives
- Prepare financial models, cash flow analyses, and transaction materials
- Assist with financial, legal, and business due diligence
- Draft credit memorandum sections for governance committees
- Monitor portfolio covenants, performance, and emerging risks
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field
- Approximately 2-3+ years of relevant corporate lending experience
- Foundational financial analysis, credit assessment, and modeling experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn
