M&A Financial Modeling Analyst

Financial modeling and valuation are central to this EY M&A Analyst or Associate opportunity. Build transaction insight through research, scenario analysis, and strategic advice.
Within EY’s established M&A Practice, you will support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and valuations. The work spans market and industry analysis, comparable transactions, detailed models, valuation techniques, and client presentations. You will contribute throughout the process while collaborating with EY colleagues, clients, and target personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Build detailed financial models, including scenario analysis
Prepare valuations using DCF, multiples, and precedent transactions
Analyze market, competition, industry risks, and business drivers
Prepare management, client, and marketing presentations
Provide strategic advice across industries and transactions
Requirements:
Business, finance, accounting, or similar undergraduate degree
Analyst: two to four years of related work experience
Associate: minimum four years of relevant experience
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Ability to work independently under competing deadlines
Bring rigorous valuation, modeling, and transaction analysis capabilities to EY’s growing mergers and acquisitions practice.
