Senior Manager Transaction Tax Due Diligence

Lead transaction tax due diligence and structuring for BDO clients as a Senior Manager in Calgary, using analytical and communication skills.

BDO seeks a Senior Manager for its growing Transaction Tax Services team. You will support buy-side and sell-side engagements, tax modelling, and acquisition, divestiture, and reorganization structures. The work includes Canadian and international private equity funds, purchase agreements, and post-closing matters.

• Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements
• Identify, evaluate, and quantify tax liabilities and exposures
• Design tax-efficient structures for acquisitions and divestitures
• Prepare technical deliverables explaining tax analysis and implications
• Manage, mentor, and develop engagement team members

• Completed CPA designation or LLB
• Master of Taxation or CPA Canada In-depth Tax completion
• At least six years in professional services, specializing in Tax
• Experience with M&A transactions and client expectations
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
