Become a Grants Specialist in Edmonton with the Ministry of Tourism and Sport. This full-time, permanent position supports effective grant program management and improvements.
You will work within the Policy and Grants Unit, focusing on the Active Communities Initiative and other grant programs. Your expertise will guide program design and ensure data-driven decisions. Additional duties involve maintaining program tools and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to enhance Alberta’s tourism and recreation sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support grant program application reviews
• Create and update technical program tools
• Provide support and guidance to stakeholders
• Analyze program data for performance insights
• Aid management in achieving ministry goals
Requirements:
• University degree plus 2 years related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ARTS
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to interpret program data
• Knowledge of legislation related to sport
