Duties

The analyst provides advice, analysis, and operational support for workplace health and safety programs. Responsibilities include identifying and assessing safety issues, assisting in inspections and reviews, developing recommendations in line with policies and standards, preparing reports and briefing materials, client service, coordination and accurate record‑keeping, and collaborating with managers, employees and stakeholders.

Work Environment

Positions located in Edmonton, Calgary, or CFB Suffield (Alberta). Work involves varied operational environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, occasional travel, and use of personal protective equipment.

Positions to be Filled

Three (3) permanent positions.

Essential Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary school diploma or approved employer alternative.
  • Experience: Providing OHS advice and recommendations; planning or coordinating OHS activities; analysing OHS information and preparing written products; supporting delivery of OHS programmes.
Operational Requirements
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
  • Willingness to work overtime or irregular hours.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s licence (as required).
  • Willingness to work in operational, industrial, or field environments.
  • Willingness to wear required protective equipment.
Conditions of Employment

Reliability or Secret security clearance required. Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence Code of Values and Ethics and related directives.
