Become a key player as the Indigenous SCM Engagement Specialist for Alta Gas. This role emphasizes sustainable relationship building with Indigenous communities, facilitating contractor opportunities, and enhancing Indigenous involvement in our projects.
In this pivotal position, you will leverage your expertise in Supply Chain Management to foster strategic relationships with Indigenous communities. Working closely with Public Affairs and Indigenous Relations teams, you will act as a vital liaison between Indigenous businesses and internal stakeholders. Your focus will be on maximizing Indigenous participation in various aspects of the company’s supply chain and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build sustainable relationships with Indigenous communities
• Liaise with Indigenous businesses and SCM teams
• Develop Contract Development Plans and recommend Indigenous contractors
• Review and approve subcontract awards during execution
• Ensure compliance with Indigenous engagement reporting
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 10+ years in Supply Chain or Indigenous Relations
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Thorough understanding of supply chain processes
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
Drive Indigenous inclusion and engagement in Alta Gas projects as the SCM Engagement Specialist.
