This role, reporting to the Manager of Government Relations & Community Engagement, focuses on researching and developing key public policy positions vital to Pembina and the broader energy sector. With 3-7 years of experience in government or policy, you will monitor regulatory changes and align initiatives with corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand key government policies affecting operational requirements
• Monitor government agendas for risks and opportunities
• Develop integrated policy positions for external alignment
• Facilitate internal collaboration on advocacy initiatives
• Communicate analysis and solutions through briefs and presentations
Requirements:
• University degree in Economics, Business, or Political Science
• 3-7 years of experience in government or policy roles
• Knowledge of energy sector policies and lobbying compliance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
