As part of the Town of Banff’s team, you will engage in critical planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with local legislation and Council goals.
Your role is full-time and requires superb communication, judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You will ensure balance in diverse stakeholder interests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Craft municipal land use policies and bylaws
• Oversee the Banff Community Plan initiatives
• Manage both Area Redevelopment and Structure Plans
• Work closely with environmental and development teams
• Effectively prioritize overlapping project timelines
Requirements:
• Degree in urban planning or related
• Experience in multi-jurisdictional settings
• Eligible for Canadian Institute of Planners membership
• Strong communication skills and project management
• Proven track record in managing several projects
