As part of a dedicated team, you will lead the development of crucial urban planning initiatives that align with Councils goals and local legislation. Key Responsibilities
Develop municipal land use policies and bylaws
Lead the Banff Community Plan initiatives
Manage Area Redevelopment and Structure Plans
Collaborate with development planning and environmental teams
Prioritize overlapping project timelines effectively
Requirements
Degree in urban planning or related field
Experience in multi-jurisdictional planning environments
Eligibility for membership in Canadian Institute of Planners
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects
