As a Policy Advisor in the Executive Office, you’ll lead the Secretariat for the Indigenous Advisory Committee. Working under the Director, you will coordinate meetings, provide guidance to staff, and prioritize key issues for the Board’s attention. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage sensitive information will be essential in navigating complex reconciliation efforts with Indigenous leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Secretariat for the Indigenous Advisory Committee
• Coordinate and document IAC meetings effectively
• Guide CER staff on IAC advisory processes
• Engage with senior leaders for relationship building
• Prioritize files requiring IAC input
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Recent experience in the energy sector
• Significant support experience at senior leadership levels
• Experience engaging with Indigenous communities
• Background in governance, board support or councils
