Calgary Emergency Management Specialist

Enhance safety and security as an Emergency Management and Security Advisor with Strathcona Resources in Calgary, Alberta. This full-time position focuses on emergency preparedness and stakeholder collaboration.

As a key team member, you will report to the Team Lead, Health & Safety, and utilize your expertise in emergency management protocols and risk assessments. Develop detailed response plans and coordinate with first responders and local authorities to ensure robust emergency strategies are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and protocols

• Conduct risk assessments identifying security challenges

• Facilitate training for employees on emergency management

• Engage with CPS and local RCMP in security matters

• Oversee implementation of security systems and access control

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Emergency Management or related field

• At least 4 years of experience in the industry

• Strong skills in analytical problem-solving and communication

• Knowledge of applicable legislation and standards

• Class 5 Driver's License with satisfactory record
