Position: Senior Advisor for Public Affairs
Shape communications strategies as the Senior Advisor, Public Affairs at National Bank in Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, or Toronto. This role emphasizes media relations, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement.

As a Senior Advisor on the Public Affairs team, you will leverage your expertise to manage media relations, develop communication strategies, and draft impactful messaging. This is a significant role requiring strong analytical skills and a nuanced understanding of current events and social issues. Your contributions will directly support the Bank’s reputation and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage media relations as the organization's spokesperson

• Develop external communication aligned with Bank priorities

• Draft executive speeches and press releases

• Contribute to incident management and reputational risk

• Provide specialized advice for external communication activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field

• At least 10 years of relevant experience

• Proficiency in corporate public communications

• Expertise in crisis and incident management

• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
