This position involves overseeing regional projects aimed at responsible management of Crown land. You will coordinate trail management, engage stakeholders, and facilitate discussions on pressing land issues. Your expertise will directly support planning initiatives while managing and mentoring a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver programs and projects tackling Crown land management issues
• Lead resource management planning and coordinate trail management
• Engage with Indigenous groups, stakeholders, and the public
• Supervise, mentor, and manage performance of team members
• Resolve complex allocation and planning issues for Crown land
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or related field
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in land management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ArcGIS
Drive impactful land management initiatives while advocating for Alberta's natural resources and ecosystems.
