Waste Advisor

Position: Brunel Waste Advisor Contract Role
Join Brunel as a Waste Advisor, leveraging your expertise in waste management and TDG. This contract position is available in Calgary, Edmonton, or Cold Lake.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with the Sustainability Team, advising on waste disposal and regulations critical for compliance. You will play a key part in guiding technical operations, managing waste contracts, and driving environmental improvements. Your focus will be on enhancing waste management systems and relationships with third-party waste receivers while engaging with local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a primary contact for waste approvals

• Provide recommendations on waste reduction and recycling

• Advocate and engage with external waste committees

• Conduct annual compliance confirmations for waste sites

• Lead training on TDG regulations and compliance

Requirements:

• University degree in Natural or Environmental Sciences

• Relevant industry experience in environmental management

• Familiarity with TDG regulations

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Effective organizational and supervisory skills
