Become a Waste Advisor with Brunel, focusing on waste management in the oil and gas industry in Calgary, Edmonton, or Cold Lake. This contract role demands expertise in environmental regulations.
In this role, you will support the Sustainability Team with your knowledge of waste disposal and Transportation of Dangerous Goods. Your primary objective is to ensure compliance and improve waste management practices across various facilities. By overseeing waste initiatives and advocating for sustainable practices, you'll enhance operational efficiency in waste management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage technical guidance for waste management on-site
• Ensure adherence to waste regulation compliance
• Support the development of waste management plans
• Drive engagements with external committees
• Conduct inspections and audits for waste facilities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences or similar
• Experience in construction or extractive industry projects
• Strong understanding of waste management regulations
• Proficient in English communication
• Proven teamwork and leadership abilities
