This full-time, limited-term position focuses on delivering the AER’s compliance assurance program. You will provide expert insights, engage stakeholders, and evaluate complex compliance files.
Your role will foster understanding and accountability in the industry, significantly impacting Alberta's energy mandate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct holistic licensee assessments and compliance evaluations
• Analyze compliance data and present risk-informed findings
• Lead files requiring regulatory action and compliance activities
• Guide Statutory Decision Makers on compliance issues
• Support AER staff with investigation and enforcement activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 5+ years of related experience in environmental or regulatory fields
• Knowledge of the Liability Management Framework
• Understanding of AER regulations and priorities
• Strong initiative and collaborative work ability
Use your expertise to enhance compliance and enforce regulations with the AER in Alberta.
