Enhance the morale of troops as a Deployed Barber with Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services. This role combines hair styling skills with a commitment to supporting military personnel overseas.

CFMWS is seeking Barbers for a six-month deployment to Latvia. Your mission is to provide haircuts and grooming services to the Canadian Armed Forces and partner nations, boosting morale during challenging times. Candidates should have barber certification and experience in a professional setting, adaptable to dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, and style hair per client preferences

• Trim beards and mustaches with precision

• Analyze hair/scalp conditions and recommend treatments

• Assist with recreational activities to support troops

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation

Requirements:

• High school diploma and barber certification

• Experience in a barber shop or salon

• Valid driver’s license and Canadian citizenship

• Strong client focus and communication skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy items
