Join Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services as a Barber & Stylist in a unique overseas deployment. Provide essential grooming services to enhance the wellness of CAF members and their families.
CFMWS is looking for skilled Barbers for a six-month stint in Latvia.
Your role is vital in supporting Canadian Armed Forces personnel by providing haircuts and grooming, helping to maintain morale. Ideal candidates will have barbering experience and thrive in a team-oriented environment with flexibility to adapt to new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide haircuts, trims, and styles to clients
• Shape and groom beards and mustaches
• Evaluate hair/scalp and suggest care advice
• Engage in recreational activities to uplift spirits
• Uphold a clean and professional work environment
Requirements:
• High school diploma and barber certification
• Barbering experience in a salon or shop
• Valid driver’s license and Canadian citizenship
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Capacity to lift and carry heavy items
