Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves creating stylish and personalized haircuts, color treatments, and styling services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for clients. The Hair Stylist will also engage in retail sales, maintain salon sanitation standards, and provide a memorable experience that encourages client loyalty.

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences. Should have full knowledge of products, colors and hair treatments
• Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering professional recommendations
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations
• Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, and styling products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and answering client inquiries
• Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere to ensure clients feel valued and comfortable during their visit
• Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education

• Previous experience as a hair stylist or in a similar role is a requirement
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Knowledge of sanitation standards within a salon environment is essential
• Ability to upsell retail products naturally during client consultations
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure seamless salon operations
• Experience with retail sales and front desk responsibilities is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
