Joining us at East Kootenay Primary Care Network (PCN), you’ll have a pivotal role providing social work services to unattached clients in the Invermere Health Centre.
PCN Social Workers help individuals manage a variety of emotional and social concerns that impact their health and wellbeing. They can assist with housing and food security, mental health concerns, identity needs, and crisis and safety needs. They support connection of individuals with appropriate community services, assist with access to benefit services, and coordinate with individuals’ healthcare teams.
Days of work:
Monday to Friday; 08:30 to 16:30. This is a relief, full-time opportunity until return of incumbent (unknown). Once hired into a relief role, employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent positions. There are many opportunities with Interior Health that begin with relief positions and lead to regular employment.
