We are currently looking for CRGS certified, Ultrasound Technologists (Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) to join our expanding outpatient clinic practice. In this role, you’ll use the latest ultrasound technology to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, all while keeping our pediatric clinic patients comfortable and informed. From explaining procedures and positioning patients to adjusting equipment and capturing optimal images, your technical and interpersonal skills will directly support safe, accurate diagnoses.

You’ll work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, analyze images, maintain precise records, and make a meaningful impact on patient care every day.

• Perform Ultrasound Exams: Conduct specialized sonography imaging under the direction of Radiologists and referring Physicians, while adhering to departmental protocols and guidelines.
• Provide Compassionate Care: Explain exams and procedures, address questions, ease concerns, and help patients feel comfortable.
• Collaborate with Clinic Teams: Partner with radiologists and other teams to help deliver a seamless and thoughtful experience.
• Expand Expertise: Engage in ongoing professional development to refine existing skills.
• Ensure Compliance: Follow privacy, confidentiality, safety, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and Troubleshoot Systems: Track ultrasound equipment performance, document findings, and resolve basic issues.
• Prepare and Maintain Work Areas: Prepare and stock exam rooms for exams and procedures; report low inventory as needed.

• Professional Membership: Active membership with Sonography Canada as a Certified Registered Generalist Sonographer.

  Clinical competency as a generalist sonographer.
• Specialized Knowledge: Experience in pediatric ultrasound exams is an asset.
