Competitive Pay:
Hourly rate ranging is estimated to land in the range of $31.00 to $38.00 per hour - the hiring team will offer the selected candidate a rate of pay based on experience, market factors and internal equity.

Responsibilities
Registered Pharmacy Technician - Specialty Compounding - Cleanroom Setting - Calgary, AB - FT 15-Month Contract - Healthcare
Perform sterile drug compounding and aseptic manipulations within the cleanroom according to strict technical specifications.
Execute thorough decontamination and cleaning procedures for the cleanroom and compounding hoods.
Manage production staging, including reading and plating, to ensure a smooth workflow.
Assist with order entry and the verification of labels to ensure 100% accuracy for every prescription.
Conduct final packaging checks and quality assurance monitoring for all prepared admixtures.
Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all regulatory standards and quality management protocols.
Collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager, Cleanroom Supervisor, and Pharmacists to meet daily production goals.
Evaluate priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high product quality.

Must-Have
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician program from an accredited institution.
Current registration as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician.
Active license to practice and in good standing with the relevant provincial regulatory body.
Strong technical aptitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and judgment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn specialized pharmacy software.
Nice-to-Have
Qualifications:
Previous experience with IV compounding or working in a cleanroom environment.
Familiarity with aseptic technique and sterile preparation standards.
Soft Skills:
A team-player attitude with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under short time constraints.
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
