Compassionate Home Care Aide

Provide essential daily care as a dedicated Health Care Aide. Assist clients with personal hygiene, companionship, and recreational activities, ensuring a loving and supportive environment.

In this role, you will focus on personalized care for individuals, especially seniors, within their preferred setting. You'll foster strong relationships by engaging respectfully with clients and their families while facilitating communication with the healthcare team. Attention to changing health conditions is crucial for effective support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personal care, including bathing and grooming

• Assist with medication as guided by Nurse Managers

• Plan and prepare meals tailored to client needs

• Facilitate light housekeeping and errands

• Offer companionship and engage clients socially

Requirements:

• Health Care Aide Certification or equivalent credential

• Registration in the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory

• Valid HCP/BLS CPR Certification or readiness to obtain

• Recent Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check

• Driver’s License required for travel between clients
