This impactful role centers on providing immediate care to clients facing acute mental health challenges. As an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, you will implement mental status assessments, manage risk, and develop care strategies tailored to patient needs. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed risk and mental health assessments
• Collaborate on care planning with healthcare professionals
• Conduct patient and family education sessions
• Facilitate access to community resources and support
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions
Requirements:
• Registration as an RN or RPN in BC required
• Minimum of two years of related experience
• Basic CPR certification must be current
• Familiarity with psychiatric standards and legislative guidelines
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
