Position: Specialized Medical Radiation Technologist II Role
Drive excellence in cardiac patient care as a Medical Radiation Technologist II. Utilize innovative imaging solutions to aid in complex cardiac procedures and diagnostics.

Reporting to the Unit Manager, the MRT II will be instrumental in shaping patient outcomes through diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab. This role demands direct involvement in patient care, collaboration with various healthcare professionals, and operation of specialized imaging equipment. Effective communication and a strong attention to detail are imperative for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced diagnostic imaging examinations

• Support cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures

• Ensure proper maintenance of all imaging equipment

• Interpret physician requisitions accurately for imaging

• Facilitate patient comfort and safety during procedures

Requirements:

• Diploma from a recognized Medical Radiation Technology program

• Registration eligibility with ACMDTT and CAMRT

• At least 1 year of general radiography experience required

• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Preferred experience in Cardiac Cath Lab settings
