Position: Community Support Worker for Day Options Program
Empower marginalized adults as a Community Support Worker at Calgary Alternative Support Services in Chestermere. This part-time role supports clients' independence and builds strong community relationships.

Working until November 2026, you will focus on enhancing clients’ daily living skills through the Day Options Program. Responsibilities include offering emotional support, liaising with guardians, and effectively monitoring Individual Support Plans.

Your role is essential in fostering inclusion and a sense of belonging within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build supportive and positive relationships with clients

• Effectively monitor Individual Support Plan goals

• Assist clients in enhancing existing daily living skills

• Liaise with client guardians and support networks

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork

Requirements:

• Mandatory education in Human Services

• Valid Basic First Aid and CPR/AED certification

• Required background check for vulnerable sectors

• Driver's license and reliable vehicle

• Preferred experience with developmental disabilities
