Position: Health and Safety Specialist Permanent Position
Be a key player in cultivating a strong safety culture as a Health and Safety Specialist, based in Ontario or Alberta. Work on implementing strategies that prevent workplace incidents across our facilities.
This permanent position is ideal for candidates with 3+ years of health and safety experience in manufacturing. You will plan and coordinate the health and safety program, engage with employees for training, and ensure compliance with legislation.

Your role will significantly impact both employee safety and organizational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement company-wide health and safety strategies

• Collaborate with various teams for safety training and evaluations

• Advise leadership on health and safety policies

• Conduct compliance audits and site inspections

• Support initiatives to improve safety performance
Requirements:

• Certificate or diploma in EHS or related field

• Over three years of health and safety experience

• Understanding of safety standards in industry

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Valid driver's license and ability for cross-border travel
