The Health Care Aide is responsible for monitoring and reporting on client health and well-being, delivering prescribed medications, and maintaining high professional standards. This role involves significant physical activity related to client care and requires commitment to policies and best practices in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and relay changes in client conditions

• Accurately deliver prescribed medications as needed

• Ensure ethical standards of care are followed

• Assist with client mobility and comfort

• Carry out additional assigned duties as required

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is essential

• Graduate from an Alberta-recognized Health Care Aide program

• Must hold active registration with CLHA

• Ability to effectively communicate in English

• Experience in health care settings is beneficial
