Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will oversee staff in Cardiac catheterization labs and ensure operational efficiency. Your expertise in technologies like Phillips x-ray and specialized cardiovascular software is essential. Key responsibilities include direct patient support and collaboration with educational personnel to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead MRT staff in cardiac procedures

• Manage complex imaging systems and troubleshoot issues

• Provide essential patient care during device implant cases

• Facilitate educational initiatives for MRT team

• Maintain radiation safety standards and documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technology program

• Eligible for registration with ACMDTT and CAMRT

• At least 3 years in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
