Position: Spiritual Health Care Coordinator Role
Make a difference in the lives of residents as the Spiritual Care Coordinator at Colonel Belcher. This Temporary Part Time position focuses on delivering compassionate spiritual health support.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Spiritual Care Coordinator is responsible for offering spiritual and psychosocial support to residents and their families. You will enhance the care experience by integrating evidence-based spiritual practices into the multidisciplinary team. Engaging with various beliefs and cultural practices is essential to provide tailored support that meets diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to understand residents' spiritual needs

• Facilitate collaboration with healthcare staff and volunteers

• Lead spiritual health initiatives and workshops

• Organize religious community visitor engagements

• Ensure alignment with holistic care policies and frameworks

Requirements:

• Certification or work towards becoming a Certified Spiritual Care Practitioner

• Degree in relevant field like theology or social work

• Two to five years of spiritual care experience

• Proven ability to work with diverse groups and collaborate effectively

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
