In this role, you'll join a collaborative healthcare team providing acute medical care to patients with complex medical conditions. Responsibilities include documenting patient histories, executing treatment plans, and liaising with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. You'll also educate patients and their families while ensuring safe transitions during admissions and discharges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Document histories and physical exams of patients
• Implement treatment strategies under physician guidance
• Facilitate education for patients and their families
• Ensure smooth transitions for admitted and discharged patients
• Prepare patients for medical procedures as required
Requirements:
• Eligible for CPSA registration as a Physician Assistant
• Curriculum Vitae detailing PA training required
• Open to Canadian residents only
• Previous acute care experience preferred
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care
