Take on a rewarding Casual role as an Occupational Therapist at Glenmore Park, focused on rehabilitation and recovery for residents. You'll provide vital assessments and interventions aimed at enhancing functional independence.
Your duties will primarily support the Rehabilitation and Community Transition Program (RCTP), addressing the needs of medically stable adults needing further care before returning home. You'll also facilitate clinical supervision for both support staff and students, thereby enhancing our team’s capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver focused assessments within rehabilitation units
• Develop and implement treatment plans for residents
• Provide clinical oversight and mentorship
• Assist with patient discharge and transition plans
• Engage in the Rehabilitation and Community Transition Program
Requirements:
• Recognized Master's or degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Eligible for CAOT membership
• Experience in occupational therapy is a plus
• New graduate applicants welcome
