Take on the role of Policy Analyst at First Peoples Wellness Circle, focused on addressing mental health for First Nations. Collaborate remotely to build effective wellness policies.
This term full-time position requires you to work closely with the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Programs. Your responsibilities will include conducting data analysis, developing mental wellness policies, and advocating for First Nations health initiatives. Your critical thinking and cultural competence will be essential in promoting community-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to leadership on mental wellness policies
• Classify and assess health-related data and legislation
• Create position papers and policy frameworks
• Enhance recognition of Indigenous initiatives in mental health
• Represent FPWC in government meetings and discussions
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in health or related field, or equivalent experience
• Five years’ experience in health policy or research
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Contribute to meaningful health policy improvements in Indigenous communities with First Peoples Wellness Circle.
