In this role, you will provide client care in rehabilitation units, emphasizing assessment, treatment planning, and interventions. By contributing to the quality of life in continuing care units, you will help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals, while also offering clinical support to community staff and students where applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed client assessments for tailored care
• Create and oversee treatment plans for residents
• Ensure smooth and safe discharge processes
• Mentor and supervise staff and students in the field
• Promote residents’ self-sufficiency and independence
Requirements:
• Master’s or recognized degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Eligible for CAOT membership
• Relevant experience in a clinical setting is a plus
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
