Position: Calgary Rehabilitation Aide at Optima Living
Join Optima Living in Calgary, Alberta as a Rehabilitation Aide dedicated to enhancing resident mobility and independence. Implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal wellness.

You will work under the Physiotherapist’s guidance, reporting to the Director of Care.

Your role involves monitoring progress, educating residents, and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to promote effective rehabilitation practices, all while honoring each resident’s dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and evaluate rehab programs with the care team

• Implement individual rehabilitation plans and activities

• Observe and document changes in resident abilities

• Provide guidance on safe rehabilitation techniques

• Maintain cleanliness of therapy equipment

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized rehabilitation assistant program

• Experience in a mental health or residential setting

• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and transfer techniques

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Availability for flexible shift work
