Allied Health Physiotherapist Position

Become a Physiotherapist I at South Health Campus in Calgary, where teamwork and patient-focused care lead rehabilitation efforts. This role is pivotal in outpatient and inpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.
You will work under the guidance of the Allied Health Assistant Manager to deliver effective therapeutic interventions to diverse patient groups. This role requires not only physical strength but also critical thinking and organizational skills to navigate a dynamic hospital environment. Engage with patients and their families in goal-setting and recovery strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide thorough assessments and targeted treatment plans
• Participate actively in interprofessional healthcare teams
• Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and students
• Collaborate on program implementation and evaluation
• Consult with families to foster active participation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Preferred: 3+ years’ experience in relevant healthcare settings
• Knowledge of Alberta Bone and Joint Health protocols
