Become a Relief Pharmacist focused on patient care and community education in Central Alberta. You will prepare and deliver prescriptions accurately while ensuring patient needs are met in this traveling role.
In this position, you will report directly to the Pharmacy Manager and oversee medication dispensing and inventory management. Your engagement in public-relations activities is crucial to educating patients about products and services. Additionally, leading and training pharmacy staff will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring the team performs at a high level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and control medications accurately for patients
• Ensure medication and supplement inventory is sufficient
• Provide proactive counseling on medication usage
• Conduct educational public-relations activities for customers
• Train and evaluate new and existing pharmacy staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with Class A license
• Strong leadership and customer relations skills
• Excellent communication and marketing abilities
• Proven problem-solving skills and action plans
• Familiarity with Healthwatch Pharmacy systems preferred
