Join Carewest as a Temporary Full-Time Physical Therapist in Glenmore Park. Provide vital client care, treatment planning, and support to enhance residents' functional independence in a dynamic rehabilitation environment.
This role offers a temporary full-time position until July 31, 2026, at Carewest’s Enhanced Regional Community Transition Program. As a Physical Therapist I, you will focus on client assessments and discharge planning while ensuring quality care in our rehabilitation and recovery units. The position may also involve providing clinical supervision to support staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver focused assessments and tailored treatment plans
• Aid discharge planning for rehabilitation patients
• Enhance residents' quality of life through effective interventions
• Supervise students and support staff in clinical settings
• Perform additional duties as required to promote healing
Requirements:
• Master’s or Degree in Physical Therapy
• Registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta
• AADL authorizer is a plus
• Experience in clinical or continuing care settings preferred
• Open to new graduates and interns
