Engage with seniors as a part-time Therapy Aide at Carewest's Colonel Belcher in Calgary, providing essential support for daily living activities and social engagement. Enjoy a fulfilling role enhancing residents' quality of life in a collaborative team setting.

This temporary part-time position operates under the supervision of care professionals. Qualified candidates will assist seniors with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), lead craft classes, and support social events. Your contributions will help promote functional abilities and enrich the well-being of residents facing complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)

• Instruct craft classes and facilitate group exercises

• Help organize and participate in social events

• Ensure compliance with care plans and policies

• Perform related duties as required

Requirements:

• Grade 12 graduation required

• Current Basic Life Support Provider CPR certification

• PCA or certificate in leisure activities preferred

• Some related experience in caregiving is ideal

• Geriatric experience is an asset
