Opportunity  Are you looking for a once in a lifetime opportunity to demonstrate and grow your radiation therapy skills in a current state‑of‑the‑art facility, built for the future of Cancer Care? Cancer Care Alberta is currently looking for a Radiation Therapist III to join our team at the new Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Calgary.
Reporting to the Manager of Radiation Therapy, you will join a dedicated and team‑oriented, interdisciplinary team that includes Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, Medical Physicists, Dosimetrists, Allied Health, Nursing, and Administrative professionals.

You will work with creative treatment technologies and diagnostic equipment that include but will not be limited to CT and MRI simulators, adaptive RT utilizing MR Linac technology, external beam radiation with Varian Linacs, MRI guided brachytherapy, a provincial TBI program, and much more.

Description  As a Radiation Therapist III, you will be responsible for the initiation, coordination, collaboration, development, and revision of processes within your department of Radiation Oncology.
Responsibilities   Review and open clinical trials, patient accruals, and active treatments.
Conduct Quality Assurance reviews and submit technical data.
Supervise Radiation Therapist I's & II's, serving as the first point of contact for problem‑solving, complex set‑ups, troubleshooting, and general equipment utilization.
Attend and provide in‑services and training to ensure excellent facilitation of clinical studies.

Required Qualifications   Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program in Canada or an accredited non‑Canadian program.
Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
