Join Sunridge Medical Gallery as a Dietitian I and focus on patient nutrition in a dynamic environment. This temporary, part-time position in Alberta Kidney Care emphasizes nutrition assessment and health promotion.

This Dietitian I role supports the Alberta Kidney Care South Program, engaging with patients and inter-professional teams to develop and implement nutrition care plans. Your tasks will include translating nutrition research into practical applications and providing crucial education to various stakeholders. Contribute significantly to health outcomes for clients with kidney disease and promote healthy living practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient nutrition needs with thorough evaluations

• Develop and implement effective nutrition programs

• Liaise between nutrition services and healthcare teams

• Educate staff and students on evidence-based nutrition

• Participate in projects and committee work for program enhancement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with a major in Nutrition

• Completion of a recognized internship program

• Eligibility for registration with CDA

• One year experience in an ambulatory setting

• Preferred experience with hemodialysis patients
