As a Registered Dietitian, you will assess nutrition status and risks, develop tailored nutrition plans, and monitor ongoing resident care. This full-time role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality nutrition care and dining experiences. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess nutrition and hydration status for new and existing residents
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans for each resident
• Monitor residents at high nutritional risk and document findings
• Provide nutrition counseling for residents and their caregivers
• Review and approve seasonal menus including specialized diets
Requirements:
• Degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited university
• 1-2 years experience in long-term care or gerontology
• Current registration with the provincial Dietitians' regulatory college
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
