As part of a committed interdisciplinary team at Wing Kei, the Occupational Therapist plays a key role in assessment, care planning, and rehabilitation. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Care and Clinical Manager to facilitate residents’ daily living activities. Your expertise will enhance both physical and emotional well-being through targeted therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans
• Review care plans regularly with residents and staff
• Document and report according to established standards
• Engage residents in therapeutic exercises and programs
• Supervise and mentor Rehab Assistants
Requirements:
• Current registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Strong critical thinking and observation skills
• Experience in Long Term Care or Support Living preferred
• Effective communication skills, bilingual in Chinese a plus
• Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend shifts
