The O'Brien Institute for Public Health seeks a talented Community Partnerships Specialist to enhance community-academic research collaborations. Housed within the Health Equity Hub, this role emphasizes relationship management, community engagement, and supporting health equity research. You’ll identify and cultivate vital partnerships with community organizations and an array of equity-deserving populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and sustain community partnerships focused on health equity
• Serve as the primary liaison between organizations and researchers
• Support community-based participatory research (CBPR) processes
• Develop tools and resources for community engagement
• Prepare comprehensive reports on engagement activities
Requirements:
• University degree in Public Health or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in community engagement
• Strong understanding of health equity principles
• Proven ability to engage with diverse communities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
