Dietitian

Position: Dietitian at Optima Living
Elevate resident health and nutrition as a Dietitian with Optima Living in Calgary, Alberta. Focus on personalized dietary care, menu planning, and wellness for seniors in a supportive living environment.

Reporting to the Director of Care, this Dietitian role enhances well-being for residents through personalized nutrition assessments and tailored meal plans. You will collaborate with nursing and care staff to ensure safe, balanced, and enjoyable meals that align with each resident’s dietary needs. Your expertise in nutrition will foster a comforting dining experience within the framework of Optima Living's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor personalized nutrition care standards

• Consult with residents and care teams on dietary needs

• Conduct routine assessments and document findings

• Lead nutrition education sessions for residents and staff

• Report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues promptly

Requirements:

• Graduate of a recognized dietetics program

• Registered with the College of Dietitians of Alberta

• Experience in residential care or mental health

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Flexibility to work various shifts
