Position: Foothills Medical Centre Physiotherapist I
Elevate patient care as a Physiotherapist I at Foothills Medical Centre, specializing in Tertiary Neurology. Provide crucial therapeutic interventions and support patient independence in an acute care environment.

This role involves closely collaborating with the Brain Injury team to deliver tailored therapeutic interventions. You will assess patient needs and establish individual treatment plans, ensuring patient mobility and function improvements. Mentorship opportunities are available for students and therapy assistants, facilitating skill development within an interprofessional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions for improved patient mobility

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans

• Collaborate with patients and families on care decisions

• Participate in interprofessional teams focused on quality improvement

• Mentor and supervise students and therapy aides

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program

• Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered Physical Therapist

• 6 months of adult neurology experience within the last 2 years

• Current BLS certification for Health Care Providers
