Part Time Health Care Aide at Carewest

Enhance client care as a Part Time Health Care Aide  a temporary position supporting complex continuing care, you will monitor client health and provide personalized support.

This role, reporting to the Director of Care, is essential within the interprofessional health care team at Signal Pointe. Responsibilities include observing client conditions, reporting changes, and administering medications in alignment with Carewest's policies. You’ll maintain professional standards while ensuring clients receive high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and report on client physical and emotional status

• Administer prescribed medications accurately

• Maintain ethical standards and required documentation

• Assist with frequent lifting and repositioning of clients

• Collaborate closely with Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program completion

• Current registration with CLHA

• Experience in a health care facility is an asset

• Effective communication skills in English
