As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), your expertise will support acute care areas including the ICU, Critical Care, and Medicine/Surgery units. This role emphasizes the management of mechanically ventilated patients and the application of evidence-informed practices in respiratory therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage care for mechanically ventilated patients

• Assess and modify ventilation strategies

• Perform intubation and extubation procedures

• Administer aerosolized medications effectively

• Conduct high-risk patient assessments for respiratory failure

Requirements:

• Current registration with Ontario College of Respiratory Therapists

• Valid BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

• Experience in critical care is preferred

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
